Andrea Maria Jeremiah (born in India) is an Indian actress, singer-songwriter, and musician. Her main focus is Tamil and Malayalam movies. Annayum, a Malayalam film is her Malayalam debut as an actor. Andrea Jeremiah is born in an Anglo-Indian family in Arakkonam in Tamil Nadu.Andrea's father is a lawyer working at the Madras High Court. Her older sister is living and working in Leuven Belgium in the role of Research Assistant. Jeremiah comes originally from Chennai. She went to National Public School, and later graduated from Women's Christian College. She has said that she was quite a enthusiast and wanted to be psychiatrist when she passed her 12th board exams.Andrea began studying classical piano when she was eight. Young Stars is a Jackson Five kind of group which she joined at the age 10 and was the beginning of her musical and singing career. She was also a theatre performer in the college she attended and performed in a variety of performances staged through The Madras Players and EVAM. She was also in the Podhigai Channel in a television series. The actress has performed across India. She played a minor role on the Kanda Mudhal finale (2005). She sang a song for Gautham Vasudev's Vettaiyaadu. The director asked her to join the female lead characters for Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea performed the role of Kalyani the wife who's husband has an extramarital affair. Andrea was approached following Simran shobana and Tabu. The film was first released in the year 2010. In August 2011 Venkat Prabhu made his debut with the multi-starrer Mankatha. The film was commissioned to fill a smaller supporting role. Annayum Rasoolum was Rajeev's romantic flick that was released in 2013.
