Julia Fiona Roberts, born October 28, 1967 in Atlanta in the United States to Betty Lou Bredemus & Walter Grady Roberts. She comes from the fourth Roberts family to have lived in Atlanta. It began with her great grandfather John Pendleton Roberts who was farmer. Her father was the first interest to theater. He was a part of his Emory University campus in 1952 as well as in various productions that were staged around Atlanta. When he joined the Air Force and appearing in an air force production in Biloxi together with Betty Lou Bredemus. In 1955, they got married and, in 1956, their son Eric Anthony was born. Walter went to Tulane University at New Orleans in the year 1957, after the couple had left the Air Force of the United States. Walter became a member of Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio after the family relocated from Atlanta to Decatur in Georgia in the year 1960. Walter as well as Betty Lou produced a Saturday morning local television show that was aimed at children, known as Bum Bum and His Buddies in 1964. This was a project that they funded themselves. In the following year, they established The Actors and Writers Workshop which ran for six years. In 1965, they welcomed two more children into their lives: Lelisa Billingsley and Julia Billingsley.
