Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts, born on October 28, 1967, in Atlanta to Betty Lou Bredemus & Walter Grady Roberts. Roberts is from the fourth generation of Roberts family that been a resident of Atlanta. This started with her grandfather John Pendleton Roberts who was an agriculturalist. Her father took the first interest to theatre. As a student in Emory University he appeared in diverse productions, both at and off the campus. In 1953, he joined the Air Force and while stationed in Biloxi in Mississippi acted in a production with Betty Lou Bredemus. The couple got married in 2005 and had their first child, Eric Anthony in 1956. Walter was studying at Tulane University, New Orleans Louisiana. In 1957, the couple left the airforce and Walter started his education at Tulane University. Walter became a member of Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio when they moved their family from Atlanta to Decatur in Georgia in 1960. In 1964 Walter along with Betty Lou began production on the local Saturday morning children's television program named Bum Bum and His Buddies that they funded themselves. They founded an Actors and Writers Workshop in the year 1964, and it ran for about six years. In 1965, they welcomed two children to the family: Lelisa Billingsley and Julia Billingsley.
