Harry

Harry Edward Styles, known within the music world as Harry Styles, is a British composer and performer acknowledged as being one of the members of the group One Direction. He was born in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, England on February 1, 1994. He is the son of Des Styles and Anne Cox. Harry Styles was a student at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School. There, he and three schoolmates formed a musical band called White Eskimo. They participated in the Battle of Bands where thanks to their outstanding performances, they won. Despite having always shown interest in music he also wanted to be the next lawyer or physiotherapist. He was employed in a local bakery for a few hours to support families financially. Harry Styles was selected for The X Factor 2010 audition in which he performed Stevie Wonder's hit song Is not She Lovely. The group was forced to break up. Nicole Scherzinger proposed to Harry Styles that he become member of the new group, One Direction. The other members were Liam Payne Zayn Mallik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell was the sponsor of this group, which formed in the year 2010. In the contest, the group played songs, such as My Life Would Suck Without You by Kelly Clarkson and Total Eclipse of the Heart by Bonnie Tyler so the group was one of the contenders to win the contest. However they were in third place behind Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles' group didn't take home the prize, however Cowell nonetheless paid two million dollars to One Direction for them to conclude a partnership with Syco.
