LeBron Raymone James Sr. was born on December 30th, 1984. He is a famous American professional basketball player. The nickname is King James he is widely thought of as one of the most successful athletes of all time. He has often been compared with Michael Jordan in debates over the greatest basketball player in history. James has won four NBA Championships as well as four NBA MVP Awards, the four NBA Finals MVP Awards and three All-Star MVP Awards. He has also won two Olympic Gold medals. James is second in greatest number of goals in his career and seventh in assists. James has been named for the NBA All Star team 18 times. He was named as an NBA All-Star 18 times to the All-NBA Team a record 18 times and for his place on the NBA All-Defensive First Team five times. He was the third player to play in the NBA Finals. Eight of those were consecutive from the year 2011 until 2018. James made his way onto the NBA 75th Anniversary Team in 2021. In 2022, he became the first NBA player to score 10,000 career points. James played basketball at St. Vincent St. Mary High School in Akron, Ohio. He was hailed by the national press as the future NBA super star. In preparation for his professional career his dream, his team, the Cleveland Cavaliers chose him as the first pick overall in the NBA draft of 2003. He was voted as the NBA player of the year for 2004. Then he was one of the premier players in the NBA, winning the NBA MVP Award in 2009 and 2010. James was not able to secure a title with Cleveland and left the city in 2010 as a "free agent" in 2010. The decision was announced in the TV special The Decision.
