Alison Krauss, born in Decatur in Illinois on July 23, 1971 is a popular and well-off Country Singer. LeAnne Kymes was among the two the youngest Grammy Award recipients. Alison Maria Krauss, born July 23, 1971 is an American musician and singer. She was a teenager when she first entered the world of music, having won local contests from the age of 10 old and recording her first album at the age of fourteen years of age. After signing to Rounder Records, her first album was released in 1987. She was invited to join the band with which she still performs Alison Krauss and Union Station as well as releasing her debut album with them as a band in 1989.
